Ivy Tan is VP, Sales APAC at 8×8, where she leads the company’s sales organisation across the Asia-Pacific region.

Over her seven years at 8×8, she has progressively taken on greater sales leadership responsibility, building and scaling regional teams before stepping into her current VP role.

Her experience spans driving revenue growth for 8×8’s customer experience and cloud communications portfolio across diverse APAC markets, working closely with cross-functional and partner teams to grow the business.

Ivy is known for developing talent and building high-performing sales organisations, crediting the mentors and teams around her as central to her own growth.

Giovanni Polesel leads EMEA Sales for 8×8 CPaaS, bringing over a decade of experience in telecommunications and cloud communications. Based in London, he works across direct enterprise sales, strategic partner management, and cross-functional go-to-market execution — helping businesses across the region unlock the full value of omnichannel customer engagement.

Giovanni specialises in translating complex CPaaS propositions into tangible business outcomes, with a particular focus on messaging, conversational channels, and authentication solutions. He works closely with solution engineering, customer success, and marketing teams to drive revenue growth and build long-term client relationships.

Outside of work, Giovanni is a keen traveller and a decent cook.

Matt has over 16 years of experience in Technical Sales roles within the communications industry, and specializes in messaging, video, conferencing, collaboration, convergence technologies, and applications.

With an outgoing personality and a genuine love for connecting with others, Matt is driven by a passion for the perfect blend of people and technology, and he thrives on challenges and opportunities to constantly learn and adapt to new ideas and technologies.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Matt is also a qualified British Cycling Coach and runs weekly coaching sessions for kids on a voluntary basis.

Anton Shchekalov has over 17 years of experience in the business messaging industry. Since 2016, he has spearheaded the creation of 8×8’s CPaaS platform, driving remarkable success and substantial annual revenues.

Before joining 8×8, Anton served as CTO at i-Free Group (a leading provider of mobile payments and SMS messaging in Eastern Europe), playing a pivotal role in growing the Premium SMS payments market from 2005.

Anton’s strong track record includes building and managing high-performing engineering teams. He is deeply passionate about creating innovative communication solutions that empower businesses to connect with their customers.

Igor brings more than 15 years of experience in product development, growth and marketing.

Igor’s professional journey spans across diverse industries, including aviation, transport, HR, and marketplaces. He has contributed his skills to SaaS companies of various sizes, stages, and locations through both employment and consultancy. His passion lies in delving into intricate problem-solving for business users. As a product leader, he prioritizes values like customer empathy, discovery, and a commitment to experimentation.

Joony brings two decades of marketing expertise spanning various industries, including entertainment media, FMCG, luxury goods, finance, and technology.

His specialisation lies in leveraging data strategy, marketing technology, digital marketing, and demand generation to fuel business growth. Renowned for his ability to orchestrate high-performing marketing teams, Joony excels at bridging the gap between brand awareness and demand by employing innovative methods. His dedication to crafting efficient, results-driven marketing frameworks is aimed at maximising return on investment (ROI).

Outside the professional sphere, Joony is a fervent hiking aficionado, passionately exploring the wonders of nature and the earth.

Jolyn is the Head of Business Operations at 8×8 CPaaS, she spearheads the Sales Operations, Pricing and Deal Desk team, driving innovation and growth.

As a visionary leader and entrepreneur, Jolyn has a unique blend of youthful energy and strategic insight, leveraging her expertise in CPaaS to fuel business success. As a seasoned founder, Jolyn has successfully launched and grown two businesses, showcasing her ability to turn ideas into reality. Her data-driven approach and passion for process improvement have led to the creation of high-performing teams, including a deal desk team built from the ground up.

Wee Soon is a seasoned Business Development leader with two decades of expertise in scaling mobile and web technology solutions across Asia. Throughout his career, he has built a strong track record of expanding regional business operations and connecting emerging technologies to solve complex enterprise engagement challenges.

Following Maven Lab’s strategic integration into 8×8 in 2026, Wee Soon leads commercialization initiatives aimed at accelerating enterprise growth. In his role, he focuses on leveraging deep local market insights alongside 8×8’s global cloud communications architecture to build high-value strategic partnerships and deliver impactful business outcomes.
