Stephen Hamill serves as the General Manager of 8×8’s CPaaS business, with more than 20 years of experience taking enterprise SaaS solutions to market and accelerating market share growth.

As a highly regarded leader in the tech industry, Stephen has held prominent roles including Managing Director and Vice President at Genesys (ASEAN and South Asia), Vice President at Oracle (APAC), and Managing Directors at Accenture as well as Adobe (SEA).

He has successfully driven product innovation, customer engagement, and revenue growth throughout his career, advocating for customer lifetime value as a key driver and customer success and partnership as a differentiator.

Beyond his professional work, Stephen is an enthusiastic photographer and videographer and enjoys spending time outdoors.

Richard Loberas is an accomplished Sales Management Leader with a wealth of expertise in Contact Center Sales, Full Cycle API Management Sales, and Cloud Sales solutions. Richard has extensive professional experience throughout his career, in international settings across ASEAN.

Richard has an exceptional track record in driving software sales even in challenging environments, and is highly competent in defining effective sales processes, shaping selling skills, and boosting sales performance through expert coaching.

Throughout his professional journey, Richard has come to recognize the significance of hard work, teamwork, trust, and close collaboration with his team. He believes that these core values have been instrumental in propelling his successful and fulfilling career.

Matt has over 16 years of experience in Technical Sales roles within the communications industry, and specializes in messaging, video, conferencing, collaboration, convergence technologies, and applications.

With an outgoing personality and a genuine love for connecting with others, Matt is driven by a passion for the perfect blend of people and technology, and he thrives on challenges and opportunities to constantly learn and adapt to new ideas and technologies.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Matt is also a qualified British Cycling Coach and runs weekly coaching sessions for kids on a voluntary basis.

Anton Shchekalov has over 17 years of experience in the business messaging industry. Since 2016, he has spearheaded the creation of 8×8’s CPaaS platform, driving remarkable success and substantial annual revenues.

Before joining 8×8, Anton served as CTO at i-Free Group (a leading provider of mobile payments and SMS messaging in Eastern Europe), playing a pivotal role in growing the Premium SMS payments market from 2005.

Anton’s strong track record includes building and managing high-performing engineering teams. He is deeply passionate about creating innovative communication solutions that empower businesses to connect with their customers.

Karen is the HR Business Partner, CPaaS. Leveraging her extensive commercial experience in Global Companies and over 16 years of deep HR experience, she partners with the leadership team to drive the people strategy for CPaaS.

Karen joined 8×8 post the acquisition to integrate, forging the synergies and embedding 8×8’s people strategies into the CPaaS Business. Karen is passionate about coaching and mentoring people to be their best. Prior to 8×8 she has worked with leaders in multiple sectors and countries navigating and leading companies to success through their people in culturally diverse and fast growing environments.

Carol Koh is a highly skilled finance professional with over 15 years of experience, bringing deep commercial insights and expertise to the table. Recognizing that corporate finance has evolved beyond mere numbers, her role extended beyond traditional finance to encompass strategic and tactical business planning, new business development, and market expansion.

Business-first, commercially-astute, and CPA-qualified, Carol has served as Finance Controller and Finance Director with diverse MNCs.

She believes in giving back to the community and does so through volunteer work. She also enjoys music and jogging.

Igor brings more than 15 years of experience in product development, growth and marketing.

Igor’s professional journey spans across diverse industries, including aviation, transport, HR, and marketplaces. He has contributed his skills to SaaS companies of various sizes, stages, and locations through both employment and consultancy. His passion lies in delving into intricate problem-solving for business users. As a product leader, he prioritizes values like customer empathy, discovery, and a commitment to experimentation.

Joony brings two decades of marketing expertise spanning various industries, including entertainment media, FMCG, luxury goods, finance, and technology.

His specialisation lies in leveraging data strategy, marketing technology, digital marketing, and demand generation to fuel business growth. Renowned for his ability to orchestrate high-performing marketing teams, Joony excels at bridging the gap between brand awareness and demand by employing innovative methods. His dedication to crafting efficient, results-driven marketing frameworks is aimed at maximising return on investment (ROI).

Outside the professional sphere, Joony is a fervent hiking aficionado, passionately exploring the wonders of nature and the earth.

Aman Basra leads partner management at 8×8’s CPaaS business, specializing in business development through an ecosystem of resellers, ISVs, and technology partners.

In the Contact Center and communications software industry since 1997, Aman has held pivotal roles at CX vendors such as Aspect Software, Consilium Software, NTT and Syniverse.

As Co-Founder and second-in-command at Consilium, he led the startup’s 0-to-1 journey as a Cisco CX partner, transforming it from a services-oriented business to a software product company with a suite of apps for CCaaS, UCaaS, and CPaaS across voice, digital channels, and video. These products were distributed globally by Cisco, Genesys, and an extensive network of partners.

Collaborative by nature and passionate about partner success, Aman brings to the table a wealth of insights derived from having resided in Singapore, Australia, and India.

Sylvain brings more than 15 years of experience in operation and customer support in the telecommunication industry, UCaaS & CPaaS.

Sylvain is a strong supporter of the “Customer First” philosophy and has an extensive track record of helping businesses and departments to scale and expand their strategic and business processes to support their growth while maintaining high customer satisfaction and happiness.

He strongly believes that great communication is the key to productive collaboration and overall success in a multicultural, changing world.

Emil leads all meetings and video products and services at 8×8. He is also the Founder and project lead of the Jitsi.org project.

Emil obtained his Ph.D. in computer science and real-time communication in 2008, at the University of Strasbourg. He is an IETF contributor, responsible for the WebRTC extensions to ICE (Trickle ICE) and other specifications such as the RTP audio level extensions or the CUSAX framework.

Through the years Emil has also been teaching graduate and undergraduate classes in real-time communication technologies at the University of Strasbourg in France and Sofia University in Bulgaria among others.

Jolyn is the Head of Business Operations at 8×8 CPaaS, she spearheads the Sales Operations, Pricing and Deal Desk team, driving innovation and growth.

As a visionary leader and entrepreneur, Jolyn has a unique blend of youthful energy and strategic insight, leveraging her expertise in CPaaS to fuel business success. As a seasoned founder, Jolyn has successfully launched and grown two businesses, showcasing her ability to turn ideas into reality. Her data-driven approach and passion for process improvement have led to the creation of high-performing teams, including a deal desk team built from the ground up.
